Artist's Comments

It was a bit foggy this morning, and I enjoyed taking pictures of the crossing in front of my house. Putting the scenes together tells a story. A story that never happened.

Important to know is that I as an artist create here a new reality. Because you see photographs you probably are also more eager to accept that reality. Truth is that this dangerous situation never happened, as there was no traffic at all. The picture suggests otherwise, I hope.

great composition!

the fog makes the whole thing seem kinda dreamy, which I think it's pretty cool :) (Smile)

This is really good. Very chilling. I really like the frame-by-frame of the car, that was a really neat idea.

Wow - this is really something. What a story you have made here - you just caught that situation and the placing of the car there. This is excellent!! Absolut FAV!

the colors are really nice on foggy days...
it looks like a recoloured b&w movie

i love the evil car coming out of the fog, in our direction

and agggh... this woman should be more careful with her children when crossing the road !

Great concept here...Really well made....
The fogs makes this so much better...But I think this should be in b/w...Would look better then....

Wondering, Wondering in
Feilds of Disillusion
:iconpantopicon:
Your construction of complex visual narratives always fills me with a sense of wonder. I love this piece, and not only for its capture of a kind of staggered movement -- I correlate it to the "blink", but as well, to the ways in which it so intuitively interrogates notions of space and time -- and how those elements interact with perception and distance. The increments of these factors, and the ways in which they organize our own positions as "seeing subjects" are so very important, and your work always always calls this to attention. The one point of colour, in the stop light, as well, is particularly suggestive, and informs that notion of the stop-gap of the look. Really amazing piece.

I always dream of a pen that would be a syringe.

I did not see it at first.
My eyes were attracted by the structure.
The narrative is great (once I got it Slow )...like in those comics...

Headbang!
